commitments of $500,000 and a goal of raising $50 million
over 5 years. The Fund supports efforts in the areas of education/literacy,
health, and microenterprise in two ways: .

Provides financial and management support for the
most promising current efforts in the use of IT to
alleviate conditions of poverty.

Help to reinvent existing processes:
Responds to invitations from social entrepreneurs
with established and significant anti-poverty capacity
interested in utilizing the IT expertise of the Digital
Partners India Brain Trust to reinvent or enhance
their efforts.
