Shashi Ullal, Chairman, Digital Partners India

Shashi Ullal is one of the IT personalities associated with IT since its inception. He was President and Managing Director of HECL till 2001, when he was made the Vice chairman, which position he held untill he retired in April,2002.  Ullal’s longest stint with an IT company has been around 19 years with IBM. His other major assignments include country Marketing Manager, DCM Data Products and Vice President, Hewlett-Packard Division of Blue Star Ltd. Prior to HECL, he was Director on the Boards of Modi Olivetti and Alcatel Modi.

He was on the Telecom committees of the three Trade bodies until 2001.In 2001,ASSOCHAM elected him as the Chairman of the Telecom Convergence Committee, which he relinquished in August,2002.Currently,he is a member of that Committee.

Apart from these, Ullal has also been a speaker for the industry. He was also a member of the National IT Council of the CII.


Satish Jha, President, Digital Partners India

Satish, is an information management professional who founded James Martin and Co. in India. He is a former editor of some of the leading Hindi and English dailies in the country and has previously worked as the head of Global Information Management Systems for the vitamins division of Hoffman-La Roche in Switzerland. He has also been actively engaged in the application of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) for enhancing the quality of life for the poor. In the social sector, he is credited with the founding of Tarahaat and Baramati Initiatives among others. More>>


Athar Haque

Athar: a consultant, social entrepreneur and founder & President of eHealth-Care Foundation has been very active in using ICTs for Development since completing his MBA. Born and brought up in Patna. He was educated in Delhi and earned an MBA before founding his software company 'eHealth-Care'. He led the eHealth-Care project to be recognized as a finalist at the Stockholm Challenge Award and the Government of India's Silver Medal for innovation with ICTs for Development and Best Practices. He leads DP India's eHealth initiatives.


Dr. Shambhu N. Chaturvedi

Dr Chaturvedi is a scientist, manager, organizer and active in social space in utilizing technologies for the benefit of capacity building at various levels.
He has worked with Schering Corp., Wockhardt, Reliance Life Life Sciences, IMPAC among others as an adviser and technology transfer expert in leadership roles.
He studied at Agra University and University of Oslo where he earned his graduate degree and a doctorate.
He also oversees some of the activities of Stevens Institute of Technology in India.
